Clip to ScrapBook
I work at an Australian western suburbs of Sydney school where our Non ENglish speaking population is about 60% so my class has children from all over the world .Last year I had 9 children whose parent had been born in Australia, Three from Lebanon, two from Serbia, one fropm Afghanistan, one from the Cook Islands,Three from New Zealand (Maori) ,one from Egypt and one whose parents came from England. We have a penpal in Texas who found it hard to believe that we had so many children from everywhere as Australia is sooo far away. The school I was at previously had an ESL population of about 85-90%
