Things to do

Clip to ScrapBook
Have a supply of fun and interesting stuff to help you get through the first few days while you try to get situated. The Scholastic web site has some fun icebreaker activities you can print and copy. You can use this time to go over your class rules and your expectations of them. I would recommend having several good read aloud books and maybe even an educational video about getting along with others or some other appropriate topic, just in case you have a TV/VCR in your room. Drawing paper is always good to have on hand too. You could create a class mural or an all about me quilt. Best wishes.
