awards for good attendance???

What is your opinion on receiving gifts for attendance? In our newspaper today there is an article on a girl in Wy who is receiving a $28,000 Chevy Colorado crew cab for her "near perfect attendance" What do you all think about this? Our district does not do anything like this, but if they did, I would want to make sure my boys all got near perfect attendance to win a new truck! WOW!!!!
