teaching assistants

Teaching assistants can be great! Just start out with a talk. Ask her what she would like to do. Some teaching assistants are just interested in busy while others like to just right in and get their feet wet. I have a great teaching assistant and we do a lot of team teaching. Be sure to open the lines of communication early because some assistants can get a bad feeling if not treat right.
