Hmmm...that's a good idea too. My big problem I have though is the students who have the most trouble on the Mt. Math are the ones who never participate in giving answers when we go over our written version on the overhead.

I want to start using sticks and what not...but I don't how much it would benefit those who need it the most if I did it as a sort of verbal activity as you described. I would love to do that though...just not sure if it would work with my population of students.
