First Day

One thing we will be doing is making our "faces" to put on magnets, which will then be used for graphing activities all year. Each child will draw his/her own face, add yarn hair,etc., on a small white tagboard circle. These will be glued to the round magnets I get at Radio Shack. One of my file cabinets (metal) will be the graph. Daily graphs will be in place as the children enter each day, and they will move their magnet to their preference, e.g., Favorite Food, Kind of Pet, What Did You Eat for Breakfast, etc.
