I have found that you can not read too many legends. Use them all, read and read again.

Make sure that you study personification, great spirits and a natural phenomenon.

Read some more.....Being in Michigan we have a ton of Legends that were written about our state. This is a great way to incorporate our social studies also.

Don't forget to read. (I have even ditched our reading series and implemented our legends unit...shhh...don't tell anyone :)
