Keep her busy

doing things outside the classroom. I'm not sure she wants to watch her child but may also want to watch/critique you. My volunteer does everything in the work room. She makes copies and files things into Friday folders. She also cuts, laminates, etc. Our classroom is so small that there wouldn't be room for her in there anyway. I thought she kind of sounded bossy the way she said that she will be volunteering. I'd definitely welcome her to volunteering but kindly keep her away. Good luck!
