student teacher gift

Apersonal gift my cooperating teacher gave me 26 years ago was a Christmas ornament engraved on it. I think of her and that special time of my teaching career every year when I hang it on my tree. I jsut gave my niece, a first year teacher, a beautiful sounding chime for her desk as a signal sound and a fancy pointer to use for her calender time. She loves them both.
