thinking maps
By Jalon

Clip to ScrapBook
I use them and the kids really enjoy being able to put their personal mind picture to a concept. I use them in in the subjects I teach (Reading, Soc. Studies, and Science (4th) ) and like how I can do quick assessments based on student thinking maps. I got my info from a state conference presentation a couple of years ago, but do a Google and you should find lots of info. There is a thinkingmaps.com site also. Just a different twist on the usual graphic organizers.
