HighPoint

Clip to ScrapBook
I'm using HighPoint as an intervention program. We have a high ESL population. I like the program because it is strong in vocabulary, not decoding, which is what my students need. Also, the stories are much shorter than Open Court, so students are able to get through them and still retain comprehension.

For fluency I'm using Six Minute Solution and lots of reading fluency strategies throughout the day.

I teach 6th grade, and I'm using the 5th grade level books.
