reading programs

Clip to ScrapBook
Our main reading program is Harcourt. We also use the intervention pieces of the program.

For our struggling readers, we use the Project Read program. It's an intense phonics based program. I really like using it. For the younger grades they use Phonology and then in the upper grades 4-6th they use Linguistics. There are other portions of the Project Read program that focus on grammar and comprehension. The comprehension is called Story Form, and the grammar is Framing Your Thoughts. I have really enjoyed using all components of Porject read.
