off limits words
By roo

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree with the other posters that the words discussed should be off limits, although it is hard to get across to kids whey they are not to use them when they hear them all the time at home. I just heard a TV promo for a show which will air at 8:30 in which they used the word "freaking" and the "a word" is always being used on TV anymore. It's hard to enforce when it's so common! By the way, in my class, the "a-word" is ain't and the "s word" is stuff (a weak word, in my opinion!) It's so funny to hear them call each other (and their parents) out for using these!:s)
