"bad" words

Ah yes, the bad words. I tell my kids that no words are "bad". However, there is usually a polite way to say something & an impolite way. In our efforts to better ourselves & be respectful to all we don't use the words freaking, shut-up, butt, etc. If they must say the words they can only say them in private! It actually seems to work.:D I don't "freak out" if anybody slips up though, I just correct them & we move on.
