the points are mine
By yesteach

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree... not to mention usually half of every order I send in is mine anyway... I teach in a very low income area, and I always supplement the order with books for my classroom, that I pay for, in order to reach "bonus"
levels for points or to get the classroom freebies. that ends the argument of "it's students who paid for them" because I've paid for them as well, and bought books for my own child when she was young on MY book orders so I got the ponts.

Even when my school DID buy the books (I bought class sets one year with my budget money), I was allowed to keep the points... I still have
all the stuff I got that year in my classroom, but it's mine (not to mention, I don't think there are any administrators still around who would KNOW where the stuff came from.. LOL). I have a long arm stapler, three hole punch, Fiskar's paper cutter, and two rolling storage carts. The books are long gone, worn out and moved on over the last ten years.. but the stuff from the bonus points is mine!
