    45 minutes is not enough. You need between 65 and 80- minutes to teach a lesson. Please do not skip the games. If you cannot play it during the lesson, at least teach it and give time to play later. The games help with skill and concept reinforcement. Also, remember that those that don't always finish on time are the ones that need the games the most, usually the lower kids, so don't use games strictly as a reward to those who finish early. You can cover up certain math boxes each time and have the lower kids only do certain math boxes, maybe those that you want to check or see progress on. Don't forget that usuaullly math boxes are paired with another lesson, for example math box 1.1 is paired with 1.3, look identical, just different values.
