I know it is not fall just yet. But what I do is make a handprint tree using fall colors (tempra paint). I let the kids pick which color. You can do it on white or light blue paper butcher/bullentin bd. Then as the kids put their prints up I label their names and sometimes put their pic. The kids love it and the parents enjoy seeing their kids and the other students. It is a project where no elses is better and I keep it up until Christmas.
Great way to talk about fall-science-seasons-colors-and use poems that and songs about fall. I explain to the students about autumn being like fall.( vocabulary explansion)
