The portables do have restrooms and are very close to exiting buildings and sidewalks (10-15 feet). I feel that if a new teacher is given proper support (a peer mentor and grade level support) they will succeed. Without this there can be problems and issues of concern of academic learning.
I feel that a newly hired teacher (starting after the beginning of the year) would just be happy with a job and a room. My grade level submitted our suggestions as to who should move or not. Hopefully we find something out tomorrow but the unknown is killing me. I'm afraid to finish putting up the word wall for fear that time will be wasted if I have to take it down next week.
