clicker bugs!

I use whats called a clicker bug. Its an antique toy clicker. You can look up toy clicker or clicker bug on ebay. They make a loud click, I click it two or three times, and then they all raise their hands, stop look, and listen. I also have a dollar and auction system that I use for a postiive reinforcement. If they use my time to use the bathroom, they give me a dollar, etc. I also use candy for rewards. Aside from that, I have a responsibility contract for 6th grade, but you may consider a clip system. I really like one a teacher uses here....they start in the middle on a color and can move up or down, so they get rewarded positively for things too. The clicker is a miracle! My class was an unruly bunch before the clicker!!
