Sounds more like a younger Kinder. Without knowing anything about him, he probably is either younger than his peers, or gets his way 100% of the time at home and doesn't understand rules and consequences. If the problem was
something more serious (in my opinion), he would not be able to settle down "extremely quickly" after being so angry.

Set very strict behavior guidelines and reward, reward, reward for even small gains in kind and proper behavior. Get mom in on the program as well. Perhaps the sped department can help with a behavior management program.

As far as worksheets, he may very
well be unable to do them unless you model them. What kind of worksheets? Frankly, I would think you would have to model whatever you want your kids to do anyway. He may be frustrated and not understand what you want. Maybe if you get a chance to explain to him first before the rest of the class, then he wouldn't feel like every time he does something he needs "help."

Hard to figure out since we don't have a full picture, but the key for me was that he could settle down extremely quickly after being upset.
