    Seven years ago, within 2 weeks of school starting, my husband and I got married, moved me out of my house and him out of his. Between trying to settle in our new life and our new home, as well as set up my classroom.....I was overwhelmed. It seemed like when I was at school trying to get ready for the new year, all I could think about was the zillion and one things I needed to do at home. Yet, when I was at home, it seemed like all I could think of was a zillion and one things I wanted to do at school, before school starts. (In my case, I was in the same classroom.........but it still needed to be prepared!)

    If you are setting up your 5th classroom in 7 years.......that means that you probably have been moving your home, too! The combination of the two-setting up a home and a classroom at the same time ONCE was a challenge for me...but it seems relatively minor, compared to the multiple transitions that you have endured in just a few years!

    Honestly, one thing that motivates me is reading through all the posts here on ProTeacher. I've been browsing through this site for about 3 or 4 years, upon occaision, but I just became a registered member this past summer. It is so helpful, knowing that there are teachers all across the country who are in the same boat I am. The helpful hints and clever ideas always give me more to think about! That helps motivate me.
