My door is probably open half of the time and closed half of the time. Our halls seem pretty quiet in the mornings, so I usually leave my door open. However, in the afternoon I have P.E. classes walking by, and they can get quite noisy. Therefore, I close the door. I always close it if we are taking a test, reading a book on tape, watching a video, or doing some other noisy activity.
