O.K...here's the low down....on the 1st day..

Well....I felt like I was working in the Sahara today...my a/c in my room still hasn't been fixed correctly, (it blows air, but it's not cold air...it's just air...kind of hot air actually), the maintenance man came to look at it during lunch, and I watched him yank the unit out, as it pour water like a waterfall, and then he turned it off, and said "let's see if this does the trick", and he turned on the fan for a few minutes...(:rolleyes: )...then he turns back on high cool, and guess what???? It still wasn't fixed.
I had completely sweated off every ounce of makeup on my face before the students ever arrived this morning, and somehow made it through the day, after drinking about a half gallon of water today.
So, tomorrow, I'm going to see about sharing my teammates room, since hers is next door, and actually cold.
Other than that, the kids were REALLY good!!! :)
And, yes, I did arrive at 6:30, along with about 40 or so other teachers, and staff members, and parents were already starting to arrive, by 6:45.
