Book storage By NJ Teacher
|
| I bought a large wicker basket at a close-out store near me. I purchased storage bags from www.realygoodstuff.com. The first year, I used Hefty School Bags. I saw more expensive zippered bags in the same catalog and tried them last year. I found they didn't hold up well, and they were a lot more expensive than the Hefty's, so this year, I went back to them. Office Depot sells the Hefty School Bags in packages of 8, so I picked up some extras in case my original 24 tear during the year. The kids place their choices in their labeled book bags and store them inside the big basket. A couple of my other colleagues get fabric totes from Oriental Trading and use fabric paint to put the child's name on. They keep these on the back of their chairs.
