Chair Pocket Pictures

Someone posted a while back about chair pockets....I finally took a picture of the ones a colleague and I made a few years ago. She took one of the student chairs home to measure and then designed a pattern. It was basically 1 long piece with a half piece added to the back. This is where you place it over the chair. Then 1 large and 1 small pocket sections were added. We also placed a clear plastic piece above the top pocket so we could slide in a student name or number....I am not a sewer, but she made it pretty easy. She added the extra pockets at the top for pencil boxes and SSR books. The bottom pocket holds soft cover workbooks and folders only. It really helps with storage and organization in the classroom!
