Don't sweat it !!!!

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi!! Just calm down!!!! Centers and small groups are a difficult thing to do for teachers and children.
In centers it is best to introduce each center one week at a time and let only 3 or 4 go to that center and the
rest do seatwork.
It is really helpful if you go over the rules before centers.
If my children act up during centers you get a red flag and loose centers the next day.
For those 3 or 4 children that are a pain in the but make sure one is in the group with you the other at a listening center or a computer game where it does not involve a lot of children.
The first month
you have to have one eye on them and the other eye on what you are doing.
After centers I always have my good and bad comment time. This lets them know what I am happy with and what I am not. And a good yell has never hurt anyone of my children. If you need help then feel free to ask.
PS: Don't forget if you feel that you messed up or did not run it right, give yourself a flag the kids get a kick out of it !!!!!
