phonics songs
By Kim

Clip to ScrapBook
I picked up the songs at my local teacher store. I think you could find them on the web. Check out: www.creativeteaching.com There are several sets available: consonants, blends & digraphs, short vowels and long vowels. The ISBN of the consonant book/CD set is: 1-57471-639-5. You should also check out the "Systematic Phonics...Making Words" (something like that)book if you're feeling overwhelmed. It gives you step by step lessons for the Making Words Block for the whole year following the sequence of a phonics program. There is no prep work once you've set up for the first lesson, and making words is a great way for kids to learn. Plus the kids really like it! Best wishes!
