Hi Cheryl, I just began my centers too! I have a Making Words Center and it is in one of those six drawer storage carts. I don't do many "dittod" in there. I have tons of letter things. I have marker stamps, regular letter| stamps, magnetic letters that I made, store bought letters. I also have an alphabet sheet and ringed sight words, that change depending upon the subject area. I have the children work in this center and write their speeling words in many different ways, they can trace the store bought magnetic letters, they can stamp them, they can practice sight words. It's seems to be a lot of | | repetion. You will hear others give the advice of looking in Guided Reading by Fountas and Pinnell. I too give that advise. It's a great resource! HAVE FUN! Christine
