The first year I was at this school was the last year for that principal. Boy, was she psycho woman from H***!!! We would have a meeting every Thursday from right after school till, oh, whenever she finally stopped talking! Some days, till 5:30! And she never completed a thought. They were very ineffective and the staff would sit around, write notes, and whisper jokes about her. It was awful.
Then she retired. :D And we got a new principal. She is a good principal, but the school district keeps her super hopping, so she doesn't like staff meetings much. She usually sends an email. But, I'm like NCP, I'd rather have more meetings. Our staff needs to see each other more and chat more. And I do feel the communication was lacking last year. I think we had maybe four staff meetings all year!
