Anybody ever read Trixie Belden mysteries? I loved these, too, as a child and noticed not too long ago at Books-a-Million that they have rereleased some of the titles, but I haven't bought any yet.
They used to be published by Whitman or somebody, and were about 69 cents for a hard cover--at the "dime store". I am a voracious reader and read extremely fast. When I was a child, I would visit my grandparents for a week in the summer. They would go to work, and I would later walk the mile or so "to town", check in w/ Mamaw at the bank where she worked, then mosey to the dime store and buy a Trixie Belden book. I'd take it home and start reading. By the next morning, I was ready to repeat the whole process!!
