Schemes of work?
By Kar

Clip to ScrapBook
First of all, congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

I have never heard the term scheme of work, but I'm assuming it means a curriculum plan in which you outline which topics you are going to teach, and the order in which you are going to teach them. As a special ed. teacher, I know there is no way to really determine how long I'm going to spend teaching a particular topic. Obviously it would depend on the age of the kids, and whether or not they are "getting it". If I am understanding correctly, and it is an outline you have to develop, I don't think you can honestly put the exact dates on your plan until after a topic is done - or at least until you know your group of kids.

Just my opinion, hope it helps.

Karen
