Morning Math

I have a Morning Math table by the front door. I made a 3-D like picture of Lilly from Lilly's Plastic Purse. Her purse is made out of a small box. I put a morning math problem in it (small strips). The children take it and glue it into their Math journals. As the year goes on, the kids have to also explain how they got to their answers.
The kids love it.
