literacy centers

I plan on using literacy centers in my room as well. Some ideas I came up with are using file folder games (with focuses on letter sounds and rhyming). I also created a poetry center ( I have poems written on sentence strips for the children to read, and place in order). Also, I have a listening center...books on tape are really fun for the children. Lastly, I have a writing center where children can write about books we have read or journal topics. Hope this helps you out.
