Technology Suggestions

I installed a multi-media projector in my classroom last year. I mostly use it with PowerPoint (review games I have made, review questions, journal topics, key points for lessons, etc.). Also, the kids love watching videos and movies on the "big screen" because it is like being at the movie theater! I have also used my projector to type paragraphs/stories/descriptions together as a class (much faster than writing it on the overhead) and we have completed graphic organizers together using it. There are also a lot of great websites you can show your kids using a projector.

sound system...very good for books on tape and movies! :D
This summer I bought a nice digital camera with my school money. Last year, I just used my personal one at school. I use it to take pictures of the kids all year. At the end of the year, I made a slide show on DVD and set it to music. Everyone loved it!
