Clip to ScrapBook
I used tennis balls one year and swore that I would never use them again. I think I will give them another chance, but here is my story. I got some tennis balls second hand (this may have been the reason they didn't stay
on the chairs very well.) I wanted to try them out before I bought them. Anyhow, they were always coming off the chairs and it got really irritating collecting them and putting them back on all the time. I had one little boy that was a handful this particular yr. One day during an observation with my principal he got the balls off of his chair and began tossing them around and catching them.
As I look back now I laugh. At the time I could have died! I made great on my eval and my principal commended me on how I handled it while teaching small groups but it was pretty stressful at the time. :)

One of the teachers I work with mentioned that she was getting rid of her tb and going to replace them with smaller ones. I have not seen these, but you might find them online. (She offered us her tb's and I declined! :)
