I only have 3 years in so far with no masters and will make $29,125.00 I do get an extra 5% for special education which equals to $1456.25 per year. This combined, gives me a whopping $30,581. Okla. did vote to give teachers a $3000.00 pay raise, starting next school year. I hope so because my husband is disabled and we have 3 girls. One good thing, I don't have to pay for MY health insurance but do have to pay for dental and vision.
For this part of the state, I make decent money and cost of living is low. I have a 2000sq foot house and the payments are less than $400. per month.
