teachers asked by principal to do so

At my former school, the principal asked all teachers to hang their diplomas and certificates to be viewed within the classroom. I don't believe that hanging such credentials is like bragging. Doctors, lawyers, and even my dental hygienist hang their credentials for all to see. It can sometimes even bring up interesting conversations: Hey, I went to Penn State, too!
