Bachelor's +30 = $46,590 Master's +0 = $28,890 Master's +30 = $51,250 National Board Certified teachers earn more, as do those with doctorates. We are trying to get the state to recognize that those with Master's degrees are at least as valuable as those with National Board certification, and the pay should reflect this. Teachers who have taught at least 10 years in the system can expect to receive longevity pay, also. The scale above is from the 2005-2006 school year. It will be increased for the 2006-2007 school year. The above salaries do not reflect the county supplement, and this supplement amount varies by county. Charlotte pays the highest supplement, I believe.
