Neat Find at Walmart

My Walmart is starting to put out back to school supplies and I ran across something that I thought was very neat. It is one of those black and white journals but this one is geared just for primary grades. It has a spot| for a picture at the top and then the lines are large with dashed lines and the lines are red and blue. I have never seen these before. I bought a few. I didn't buy them for the whole class. I just bought one for my writing center. One to send home on the weekend along with our class friend (stuffed monkey) so the kids can journal about what they did together and I'm looking for my | |
ideas on how to use them. Maybe these journals have been around for awhile. I live in a small town and we don't get new stuff very often. Anyway just thought I'd let everyone know about my find!!
