20+ years (our salary schedule only goes to 20 years) with B.A. +75 units no masters $74,083. A master's adds $1000. Starting salary with B.A. $34,306 for pre-interns, interns and emergency credentials. Clear crendentials start at $36,988. Our contract is set up for the starting salary to be double by the time you reach the top of the schedule (does $36,988x2= $74083?). We pay anywhere from $250-$990 per month for benefits, depending on how comprehensive a plan you want. Singles and families pay the same for benefits. The district pays $596/employee for benefits. Union dues $94/month! Governor Arnold has sent money down to the districts for a COLA of 5.5% we'll see if it reaches the teachers?!
