This same thing happened to me, too. I think my principal knows I'm pretty emotional, not because I've cried in front of him (before this situation), but just with how I respond to different situations. What helped was my mom saying "He's worked for almost all women for years, I think he's used to seeing people cry!" I think it shows that we care a lot about what we do! ;-)
