Token Economies

I have heard a lot about teachers who do token economies in their classrooms. I know some use the check system, where they have the kids balance their money. I know some of you use a cash money system. I would like to try a token economy this fall, but am looking for something simple and effective. I'm interested to hear what you use (or have used) in your classroom!
