Clip to ScrapBook
Hi, first of all I would like to say I admire you for actually wanting to do your best for the child--many teachers won't even try....
Something that might work--have children in the class work with the spanish speaking child--with flash cards--pictures or objects--like they can show him/her an apple--and say "apple"--and the child can repeat it. this could be a start? I would love the opportunity to work with spanish speaking children here, but there aren't any jobs! Hang in there--find some ESL books and a spanish dictionary--and once again--thanks for your effort--it means alot to the children!
