Clip to ScrapBook
I have pictures on my desk of my sons, niece and nephew and a peace lily plant. In my desk, inaccessible to the kids is my "drug store"--I keep pain relievers (Tylenol and/or Advil), some cough medicine and throat lozenges.
When my son was in elementary I also kept children's Tylenol for him and his poison ivy cream, which we seemed to need year round. Behind me on a bookcase is a little radio I got free from Scholastic News or Weekly Reader that I listen to if I work late, along w/some CDs I sometimes stick in my laptop. I also have a vase of flowers, silk ones until someone brings me some real ones,
then I switch out. I have some knickknacks that kids and coworkers have given me--like the tacky pink flamingo figurine that a friend gave me because she knows how much I despise them.

I also keep a jacket and raincoat in my storage cabinet for emergencies, along w/ a candy stash and ready to go emergency lunch food like Soup in Hand and little containers of pineapple.
