Maybe in your letter you could assign each child a letter, die cut letter sent in envelope might work or bring something from home beginning with that letter. Have children work together to get in alphabetical order. Kids always think this is fun. Oh the places you could go with this one. How about each child name something begining with the letter next to them. Wish I had more time to implement all the possiblities but love thinking about them. Have fun.
