I had a website through teacher web also and I like it. It was very easy. I would try that before creating one from scratch. I found that I wanted more liberty in how the webpage looked and so forth so I created one using Frontpage and hosted it on my comcast account. If you have comcast for your internet, you can host your site for free. They even have a webpage building site. Teacher Web is great though for first time webpage builders. Here's my site below. I also created a grade level site for my 3rd grade team using Frontpage.
