Tell me what you have done in the past and maybe I can help you a bit more. One idea that I always use for every door "theme " is to have their name and photo embedded into the decoration. For instance: Mrs. ________ 's Sweet Shop - 20 Flavors" will have ice cream cone cut outs with each child's name and photo. "Look Who is Spotted in Room One" will have twenty dalmation cut outs and each will have a photo and name. My students look forward to each new door display because it has their photo and /or artwork.
