Just read The First 6 Weeks of School.....

I just finished reading this book, which I got because so many of you recommended it on this site. It was a really good book with so many great ideas! I definitely plan on using some of them. I was left feeling pretty overwhelmed, though. I guess the problem is I have no idea how I would ever squeeze even 1/4 of those activities into my classroom. Do most intermediate teachers do a morning meeting at your schools? I can't imagine taking 20-30 minutes out of every school day!
