Be sure you don't want to use your chalkboard anymore! I went from a school that had chalkboards to a school that has whiteboards and I miss my chalkboard! Here are a few reasons why:

1. The showerboard is not magnetic (the whiteboards we have aren't either).
2. Those markers can get quite expensive. (Chalk is maybe $2.00/pack whereas the markers run about $7.00 and they don't necessarily last longer - especially if the kids are using them, they tend to push them in and ruin them).
3. They also smell horrible! (They have low odor markers but they do not erase as nicely).

Sorry to be so negative about them, but if I could have anything for my classroom, it would be a chalkboard!!!
