my impression was the same as brooke's and love2read's: it should tell more about what proteacher is all about--dialoguing current teaching trends, a place to get and give advice, a place to vent...

if i read the ad in a teaching journal, i might just think that it's another stuffy teacher thing. the "bean" idea is cute, but perhaps it could be made to sound more useful, helpful, fun (i look forward to my 2+ daily visits--sometimes using them as rewards for finishing tasks!)
